The telephone enters Handsfree mode. As the call is dialed, progress tones are returned to the telephone and are heard through the telephone's speaker. |
The call appears to the user as a maturing Callback. The source station is rung with Callback cadence. When the user goes off-hook, the destination digits are dialed. |

The current call is placed on consultation hold, and the new call is established. |

If the call request is for a line other than the one in use, and Auto-hold is programmed for the set, the current call is placed on Hold, and the new call is initiated on the other line. If Auto-hold is not programmed, then the current call is disconnected and the new call is initiated on the other line. |
